Indulge in the seclusion of this 58 acre farm just 10 miles north of Rolla, MO. There are 2.5 miles of hiking trails cleared through fields and forests. Prime wildlife viewing include turkey and deer and hundreds of species of birds. In the evening, listen for the howling of coyotes and owls under a starry sky while enjoying the warmth of a campfire.
The farm is home to 6 cows, 2 donkeys and 6 goats. Baby goats and cows will be arriving in the Spring.
Located down a winding gravel road, this spot is one of the finest in the area.
There are 2 or 3 suggested places to camp in the fields next to the woods. Or if you are really adventurous, feel free to throw your tent in a spot of your choice inside the woods. A 4x4 is recommended for driving to the sites.
This is a primitive location. No toilet, no shower, no picnic table or trash can. Maximum 4 people per site. Children and well behaved pets welcome.

I grew up in the country and forever wanted to go back. Working kept me in St. Louis but as technology progressed, I started working more from home. I decided my home didn’t need to be in the city so I started looking for an acre or two in the country for weekend get-a-ways. In Spring 2017, I found my dream spot except instead of 2 acres, it is 58 acres. It had a small farm house on it so I thought it would be fun to work on during my get-a-way weekends. Six months later, I tore down the old farm house and built a new one. Living my dream in the country full-time now and would love to share my space with others that share my passion. I will be improving campsites and adding a camper in the future. Come visit!

You will meet with the Host upon arrival and Host will accompany you while choosing a site. This is primitive camping and so no bathroom facilities are available at this time. You are asked to leave nothing but a footprint. That includes human and pet waste.
County road is off the beaten path and neighbors treasure their privacy. No loud music, 4 wheeling or hunting permitted.
You are welcome to roam the property and forage in the woods as much as you like. Donkeys and goats are fun to watch and pet.
