We specialize in guiding Fair Chase Hunts including Trophy Elk Hunts in 340 square miles of Sawtooth Units 33 and 34 in Western Central Idaho. Our hunt units also offers optional 3 way tags where you may hunt for deer OR bear OR cougar!


Our guided elk hunts offer exceptional big game trophy hunts in the rugged backcountry where wildlife abounds; surely you won't be disappointed as this hunting area boasts many Record Book trophy animals! We have been family owned and operated offering Idaho Wilderness Hunts with professional hunting and fishing outfitters services since 1969. This backcountry hunting land abundant with wildlife is known by your hunting guides in a way that comes from being born to it. Your Idaho hunting guides will plan your hunt into areas that have proven successful, enabling you to enjoy a thrilling and productive hunt!


Idaho Fair Chase Hunting using the "Spot and Stalk" method in the Sawtooth Units of the Boise National Forest and the famous Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area is like none other. This is the backcountry. Uncivilized. Untouched. Unhurried. It is the call of the wild especially for Idaho Elk Hunting!


Drop Camp Elk Hunts (Archery, Rifle, & Muzzleloader)

On our drop camp hunts, you provide food and cooking utensils, plus rifle, bedroll, licenses and tags, any personal items. We will have already set up a tent in a good hunting area complete with stove and cut firewood. We will pack all of your gear in and out of the camp. You will ride in and out on good mountain trained saddle horses, and we will pack all of your game. A radio will be provided so you can stay in touch with the base camp during your hunt.


This is a great way to enjoy big game hunts in excellent hunting areas. This Idaho elk hunting trip is for five days but usually arrangements can be made to extend this time if desired. A minimum party of four is required for rifle season and a minimum of two for archery season.


Base Price is per person for 5-Day Hunt. Minimum party of 2.
