About Peers Store- From the live local music on the porch, to our 4-acre Peers Prairie (our butterfly pollinator plot across the street), and the Katy Trail itself, the Peers Store (now listed on the National Register of Historic Places) continues to hold a special place in the history of the Missouri River valley and is truly a gem in the heart of the Missouri countryside.
About Treloar Mercantile- At over 100 years old, this historic building was built in 1896 to welcome the new KATY Railroad. At KLT, we are preserving the building and will use it for special events to promote conservation along the Trail and the not-for-profit work of the Katy Land Trust.
