3 - Day Cow Elk Hunt

Welcome to a Wyoming elk hunt of a lifetime! Our hunts take place in the famed Area 7 of southeast Wyoming on a ranch in the heart of elk country. We are permitted for both State and National Forest lands surrounding the ranch and when combined with the ranch property, allow us to hunt over 27,000 acres. We limit the number of hunters we take to offer a truly exceptional property with very little pressure.

Accommodations will be at one of two homes on the ranch. It is a great place to enjoy a home cooked meal and relax after a day of hunting. The elk hunting starts literally right out the front door! All of the country we hunt can accessed by 4x4 which allows for great glassing and spot and stalk hunting. We also have numerous tree stand locations, water holes and wallows we can hunt, and of course chasing bugles and calling elk, which is always an incredible experience!

We are avid hunters and have a passion for the outdoors and elk hunting. We have over 40 years working, hunting and guiding on the ranch. We know the property! We will adapt to each hunting situation and individual hunter. This property has produced mature trophy bulls consistently year after year, most scoring 300 - 330. There is also the very real possibility of harvesting a bull 350+. The biggest bull taken to date on the ranch was during an archery hunt and scored an amazing 399-4/8!

Area 7 is a highly sought after bull tag that usually takes 10+ points to draw. We can help manage and track preference points for you and help with the application process. We also offer cow hunts, which is a great way to experience a Wyoming elk hunt on the ranch while continuing to build preference points while putting some lean meat in the freezer.
